These Terms govern your use of Fiction Anvil, operated by [LEGAL ENTITY] ("we," "us"). By using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
You must be at least [18] years old. You sign in with Google; you're responsible for your account and the activity under it. Keep your access secure.
Fiction Anvil provides AI-assisted tools for writers (e.g. Cover Foundry) and, over time, a community and learning content. Tools produce suggestions and prompts — not finished art, and not guarantees of any outcome (see §6).
Purchases and memberships are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; you can cancel anytime and keep access through the paid period. Taxes may apply. Refunds are handled per our posted policy and applicable law.
AI suggestions can be wrong, generic, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing and for your final work. We don't guarantee publication, sales, contest results, or any commercial outcome. Cover tools output image prompts and direction, not images; you arrange any image generation or artwork separately and must respect those services' terms.
Many markets reject "previously published" work, and public posting can count as publication. We design member spaces so your prose isn't made public, but you decide what you share. Don't post work you intend to sell to first-rights markets in any public place.
Don't misuse the service: no illegal content, no infringing others' rights, no attempts to bypass caps/credits, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or farm promotions. Community conduct rules apply where community features are live.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the [3] months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages. You agree to indemnify us for claims arising from your content or misuse.
You can stop and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Some provisions survive termination (e.g. ownership, disclaimers, liability).
These Terms are governed by the laws of [STATE/COUNTRY], with venue in [VENUE], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted with a new date and, where appropriate, notified. Questions: [CONTACT EMAIL].
